The day-to-day operations of the Danville Schools Education Foundation & Alumni Association is carried out by an Executive Director with the assistance of the staff of the Danville Independent School District.
Phil Osborne
Executive Director
Phil serves as Executive Director for the DSEFAA and is a non-voting member of the board. Phil lived in the Danville area for more than 25 years before relocating to Lexington. While in Danville, he was active with community organizations, including Ephraim McDowell Health, the EM Healthcare Foundation, Red Cross, Heart of Kentucky United Way, the Wilderness Trace Community Foundation, and numerous youth sports organizations.
During his time as a Danville schools’ parent, Phil served as president of the Jennie Rogers PTO, member and chairman of the Bate Middle School Site-Based Council, and active volunteer with DHS and Central Office during strategic planning for the system.
Phil and his wife, Jennifer, have four children including two who are DHS alums. Their son works in the development office at Centre College. The oldest daughter is in the Continuing Education Department at Eastern Kentucky University. The middle daughter recently opened her own interior design company in Jackson, Wyoming. And the youngest is a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health for a practice in Nashville.
